Soludo Congratulates Mark Okoye on SEDC Appointment


Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has congratulated Mr. Mark Okoye on his confirmation as the pioneer Managing Director of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) by the Senate. Soludo praised President Bola Tinubu for appointing Okoye, expressing confidence that his leadership will greatly benefit the Southeast region.

Governor Soludo, through his Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, expressed his confidence in Mark Okoye’s suitability for the role, citing his extensive experience in investment banking and his commitment to public service. Soludo highlighted Okoye’s impressive track record, including his tenure as MD/CEO of the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) and his previous role as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning in the state.
Soludo, in his message, wishes Okoye greater wisdom and unparalleled success as he takes on this crucial responsibility of driving development initiatives in the Southeast region.
While commending President Tinubu for Okoye’s appointment, stating that it reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to fostering development in the region, Soludo extended his good wishes to the Chairman and Members of the governing board of the Commission who were also confirmed.
