Security Achievement: Lagos State Area B Commander Recognized for Exceptional Leadership in Crime Reduction

The Assistant Commandant of Corps (ACC) Anerunoye Shola, Area B Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Lagos State Command, has been widely commended for his exemplary leadership and achievements since taking office three months ago.

SCOO Abolurin, Lagos NSCDC PRO, announced that traditional leaders of Imota and Isiu formally allocated land for the construction of new divisional offices in a ceremony held on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The event was attended by Lagos State Commandant, Mr. Keshinro Adedotun, and his team, marking a significant milestone.

The event highlighted the effective collaboration and warm welcome orchestrated by ACC Anerunoye Shola and the Divisional Officers of Imota and Isiu.

Under ACC Anerunoye’s leadership, Area B has witnessed a significant reduction in trade-related and communal crimes. His efforts to strengthen inter-agency cooperation between the NSCDC and other security organizations have contributed to an improved public image of the Corps throughout the Ikorodu area.

SC Abolurin, Lagos NSCDC PRO, commended Area B Command’s outstanding achievements in enhancing security and fostering community development over a brief period.
