The Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh FMNIMC & CMC, FCAI, Anipr, Arpa, Commissioned new access gate and other facilities for the Ikeja Divisional headquarters.

The splendid ceremony took place on Wednesday the 12 November, 2025, at the Ikeja division, the Commissioner of Police received greetings from Area F Commander ACP Paul Azuka Okafor, Divisional Police Officer CSP Akinwummi Oke, and CSP Tunji Alapinni, Commander of Special Protection Unit (SPU) Base 16, alongside with the officers of Ikeja Divisional headquarters.

The new access gate will simplify entry for personnels and visitors to the Ikeja Police Station and other departments located within the vicinity. Though the division and the Area F Command have been sharing a single access entry for years, which has been very difficult to distinguish the Area Command from the division without asking for clarification.

The CP applauded the Divisional Police Officer Ikeja (DPO) for his efforts in establishing the gate, noting that it will greatly facilitate the smooth movement of personnels and visitors to Ikeja division and other departments located within the vicinity.

Accompanying the Commissioner of Police, CP Moshood Jimoh, were the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration), DCP Salihu Khan, and other Senior Officers of the command.
