The appointment was announced in a statement signed by National Secretary Dr Tunji Nasir and Transition Committee Chairman Dr Yila Umaru, following a December 2025 special general meeting.

The statement revealed that ANVAI’s organisational renewal process, launched in Q4 2025, aims to rapidly expand its membership nationwide. Kolade’s priorities include achieving quick wins with regulators like NAFDAC and SON, driving trade facilitation initiatives, and developing a peer regulation framework.

He will also work with stakeholders to rebrand and potentially rename the association to reflect its role as the umbrella body for animal health practitioners.

His experience includes Head of Training and Head of Corporate Communications at Animal Care Services Konsult, Ogere Remo, and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director (Operations) at Zygosis Nigeria Limited, Lagos.
