CP Tijani Fatai Boosts Easter Security: Orders Massive Deployment, Assures Safety

The Lagos State Police Command has put in place a comprehensive security plan to ensure a peaceful and safe Easter celebration across the state, covering before, during, and after the festivities.

According to SP Abimbola Adebisi, Lagos State Police PPRO, CP Tijani Fatai, psc, Mnips, has ordered adequate deployment of personnel and operational assets to worship centers, recreational facilities, major highways, transportation hubs, and other critical public infrastructure for maximum Easter security coverage.

Special attention has also been given to the riverine areas, with the Marine Police strategically deployed for enhanced surveillance and patrol to prevent criminal activities and ensure safety within the waterways. In addition, adequate traffic management measures have been put in place in collaboration with relevant agencies to ensure the free flow of traffic across the State throughout the festive period.

The Commissioner of Police extends warm Easter greetings to all Christian faithful and enjoins residents to reflect on the virtues of love, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence as exemplified by the season. While assuring residents of the Command’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property.
