AIG Zone 2 Pays Courtesy Visit to Air Officer Commanding, Nigerian Air Force Logistics Command in Lagos


The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 headquarters, Lagos, AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, on 21st April, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Air Officer Commanding, Nigerian Air Force Logistics Command, Ikeja, Lagos, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Abdul Suleh to strengthen inter agency collaboration and strategic security partnership.



According to DSP Afolayan Gbenga, Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 2 Headquarters, the AIG stressed the need for continued and effective cooperation between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Air Force, especially in intelligence sharing and joint operations. He said such collaboration is vital to tackling emerging security challenges and safeguarding the lives and property of residents in Lagos and Ogun states.

In his response, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Abdul Suleh appreciated the visit and called for deepened operational collaboration. He also assured the Command’s readiness to continue working with the Nigeria Police Force to enhance national security.

The visit reiterates the commitment of Zone 2 Command to sustaining synergy and boosting strategic collaboration with other security agencies to promote peace and national security.
