The successful rescue sparked celebration across the ADP family as the party’s governorship candidate, the State Chairman, Apostle Dare Ojo, members of the State Executive Committee, including Hon. Ademola Ogundeji, Alagba Bepo Adebowale, Jackson Aladje, Hon. Sayo Akinwale, Hon. The party also applauded the courage, professionalism and coordinated efforts of the security agencies, whose commitment and resilience led to the successful rescue operation.

Reacting to the development, Olatunji urged political leaders to refrain from making statements capable of politicising the nation’s security challenges, stressing that insecurity should never be exploited for partisan advantage.

He said:

“Leadership comes with enormous responsibility. Those entrusted with public office must demonstrate sincerity, compassion and an unwavering commitment to the welfare and security of the people.”

“It is deeply unfortunate when some political leaders choose to make comments that seek to score political points from painful incidents of insecurity. Such conduct reflects insensitivity and falls short of the expectations of responsible leadership.”

“Instead of engaging in blame games, leaders at all levels should unite, collaborate and work together to confront the nation’s security challenges. Protecting lives and property must remain a collective responsibility that transcends political affiliations.”

Also speaking, the State Chairman of the Action Democratic Party, Apostle Dare Ojo, commended the bravery and professionalism displayed by the combined security agencies that participated in the rescue mission.
