Glo Launches ‘Never Settle For Less’ Campaign, Unveils New Customer Offers

Globacom has unveiled a new brand campaign, “Never Settle For Less,” alongside a range of new and enhanced products designed to provide greater value to customers and encourage Nigerians to pursue their ambitions.

The telecommunications company made the announcement on Wednesday at its corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, as it celebrates its 23rd anniversary this month.

According to Globacom, the campaign is a call on Nigerians to demand the best for themselves and remain committed to achieving their goals rather than accepting less in the pursuit of success.
Speaking at the media event, the company’s representative, Uche Ogwuda, said digital services have become important tools for transforming lives, adding that telecommunications solutions can support individuals in achieving their aspirations.
To reinforce the campaign, Globacom introduced and enhanced several products, including Welcome Bonus, Talkmasta Reloaded, Magic Data Bundles and the revamped Glo Café self-service app.
The popular Talkmasta “6 for 6” offer has been upgraded. Subscribers who previously received six free call minutes and 50MB of data for every six minutes of calls will now receive the six free minutes plus 100MB of free data.
The company also enhanced its Welcome Bonus, offering new customers who purchase and activate a Glo SIM benefits worth N2,100. The package includes 20 minutes of calls to all networks, 2GB of free data and a one-month GloTV Premium subscription.
Globacom also introduced its Magic Data Bundle, which combines guaranteed data allocations with additional bonus data. Customers purchasing qualifying bundles will receive their guaranteed data as well as an automatic Magic Bonus, with the bonus varying according to the applicable allocation.
The Magic Data Bundles are available at N1,600 and N3,500, with customers eligible to receive between 500MB and 12GB in bonus data, depending on the bundle purchased. The bundles can be accessed through the Glo Café app or by dialling *312#.
The company has equally revamped its Glo Café app, introducing a redesigned interface, enhanced security features and additional payment options.
One of the major features of the upgraded app is Gloria, an AI-powered voice and text assistant designed to respond to customer enquiries and help users find suitable offers.
Globacom said the assistant supports several languages, including English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French and Spanish.
The revamped app also comes with promotional offers, including free 100GB for first-time registration, a 100 per cent recharge bonus, special data bundles and additional data benefits on selected subscriptions.
Speaking at the event, fashion entrepreneur Mai Atafo shared his experience of choosing to pursue his ambition rather than remain in a paid employment role, a decision he said eventually helped him establish himself as one of Africa’s leading suit makers.
Former presidential spokesman Dr. Reuben Abati also spoke about the importance of challenging oneself to achieve greater heights.
Abati commended Globacom for its continued focus on innovation, describing innovation as a critical driver of progress in technology, business, entertainment and other sectors.
He said Globacom had remained competitive by continuously pushing boundaries and developing new solutions for its customers.
The latest campaign and product launches underline Globacom’s effort to position its services around greater customer value while encouraging Nigerians to pursue excellence and “Never Settle For Less.”
