Following his swearing-in ceremony at Alausa Ikeja on Sunday, July 27, 2025, Hon. Seyi Jakande, Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA and son of Late Alhaji Lateef Jakande, expressed his commitment to fostering rapid grassroots development, inclusive governance, and transparency in the local government area.

He made the remark during an interview with our correspondent at the official reception held at the local council premises.

Jakande pledged to prioritize initiatives enhancing healthcare, education, infrastructure, and agricultural productivity, while upholding his late father Lateef Jakande’s legacy.
